Local Delivery & Pickup

At La Guadalupana Flowers & Gifts, we specialize in local flower delivery and in-store pickup for fresh flowers and gifts. We are a local Houston florist and do not ship fresh floral arrangements nationwide by mail or parcel carriers.

Our goal is to provide dependable service, clear expectations, and beautiful presentation from our shop to the final destination.


Delivery Area

We currently offer local delivery within Houston, Texas and surrounding service areas based on our active delivery zone.

If a delivery address falls outside of our service area, we may be unable to complete the order or may need to contact you to discuss available options, additional fees, or an alternate solution.

We recommend placing pickup orders in advance whenever possible so our team can prepare each arrangement with proper care and timing.

 

Same-Day Delivery

We offer same-day local delivery on eligible orders placed before our daily cutoff.

 

  • Same-day delivery is typically available for orders placed before 2:00 PM
  • Orders placed after the daily cutoff may be delivered on the next available delivery day
  • During holidays, peak floral periods, or high-volume dates, same-day availability may be limited

Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are based on distance, route, order type, and delivery location.

 

  • Standard local delivery fees typically range from $15 to $45
  • Additional delivery charges may apply for extended routes, timed service requests, repeat delivery attempts, or locations with difficult access

 


Delivery fees are non-refundable once delivery service has been attempted or completed, except in cases of our verified error.


 

Delivery Timing

We do our best to complete deliveries within the selected delivery window whenever possible. However, exact delivery times are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed by our shop in advance.


  • Delivery timing may vary due to:
  • traffic conditions
  • weather
  • holiday volume
  • route scheduling
  • recipient availability
  • hospital, school, church, funeral home, business, or venue receiving procedures
  • order volume and operational capacity

For funerals, memorial services, visitations, churches, schools, hospitals, businesses, or other time-sensitive locations, we strongly recommend placing orders as early as possible and providing complete delivery details.

 

Recipient Availability / Safe Drop-Off

If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, we may do one of the following, depending on the circumstances:

 

  • leave the arrangement in a safe location when appropriate
  • leave the arrangement with a front desk, receptionist, office staff, household member, or other person authorized to receive deliveries
  • contact the recipient or sender for additional instructions
  • return the arrangement to the shop if safe delivery is not possible

When appropriate, a delivery photo may be taken for confirmation purposes.

Once an order has been delivered to the address provided and left in a reasonable safe location, or accepted by a person at the delivery location, the order will be considered successfully delivered.

Additional delivery fees may apply if a second delivery attempt is required.


Customer Responsibility for Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information at checkout, including:

 

  • recipient full name
  • full delivery address
  • working phone number
  • business, hospital, church, funeral home, school, or venue name when applicable
  • suite, room, apartment, unit number, or gate code if needed
  • delivery notes and card message

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or quality issues resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or missing delivery information provided by the customer.

 

Deliveries to Hospitals, Funeral Homes, Schools, Churches & Businesses

Deliveries to hospitals, funeral homes, schools, churches, offices, and other public or commercial locations are subject to each location’s policies and access rules.

Please note:

  • hospitals may restrict floral deliveries or room access
  • funeral homes and churches may have strict service-time coordination requirements
  • schools and businesses may close before delivery is completed
  • front desk staff may accept deliveries on behalf of the recipient

We are not responsible for delays or delivery limitations caused by third-party location policies, building rules, or recipient unavailability.

 

Substitutions & Availability

Because flowers are seasonal and availability changes daily, substitutions may occasionally be necessary.

If a specific flower, container, or accent is unavailable, we may substitute with items of equal or greater value while preserving the overall style, color palette, and feel of the arrangement as closely as possible.

 

Order Acceptance

All orders are subject to:

  • product availability
  • successful payment
  • delivery capacity
  • confirmation of delivery details

 

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or reschedule an order if necessary due to availability, delivery limitations, incorrect information, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.

If we are unable to complete an order, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer.

 

Perishable Product Notice

Fresh flowers are perishable and naturally vary in bloom stage, color tone, and lifespan.


Once an order has been successfully delivered, proper flower care becomes the responsibility of the recipient. For best results, recipients should follow the care instructions provided or general fresh flower care practices.
